The 2021 Buick Envision offers Carmel, IN drivers just one engine option: a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4. While the engine can't be changed, drivers can enjoy the option between either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. In its standard Preferred trim, the 2021 Buick Envision comes outfitted with front-wheel drive. The turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 engine makes 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Working with the turbocharged engine is a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Technology

The Buick Envision gets a full technology rework, providing Plainfield drivers with a wide variety of new tech features. The base Preferred trim comes equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, 4G LTE Wi-Fi, SiriusXM radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. Stepping to the Buick Essence replaces the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with a 10-inch touchscreen. The Envision Avenir goes even further, adding a 9-speaker premium audio system and a 360-degree overhead camera. There are a number of packages that drivers can add to increase tech offerings with various trim levels. The Preferred trim can add the Comfort and Convenience package, which includes a 7-speaker audio system and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display. The Essence can add a Technology Package I, which includes a head-up display, a 9-speaker Bose premium audio system, and a 360-degree overhead camera system. The Avenir trim takes it up a notch by making a Technology Package II. The Technology Package II offers Greenwood, IN drivers includes a wide variety of exterior features along with a video rearview mirror. The Buick Envision also comes with a host of driver assistance features to assist with driving confidence. Driver assistance features include lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
